Caught a few between rain showers.
Had a large smallie break off 6lb line and a Ned rig at the boat.
All in all still good to be out.

good to see you get out

I have heard from many that the snapping turtles are in full laying egg mode right now this year

I'll be looking for my pet one this coming week and some serious bass action... can]t wait

Good job WF on the zone 15 opener. Looks like you got into a few nice ones. I haven’t been out as the weather played havoc on my plans, however the long weekend is coming and i have 2 weeks holidays coming soon and will be fishing zone 17

Honestly, I’m not holding these out to make them look bigger…..I just have short arms.
Seem to get one big 18-20” or so smallie per outing and a bunch of little guys.

The green tubes and Ned rigs and orange senkos have been working. Nothing on a spoon or Rapala lately.
