After multiple delays due to injuries, appointments and my truck getting front ended we finally got away to my favourite place for June 27th to July 01

Arrived on the morning of the 27th to clear skies and a coldfront after that heatwave...took a while to get set up but got out for an evening fish and they were on

best part was there were virtually zero bugs due to the temperatures.....had to wear like fall clothing every day out except on our last day which was the Sunday

Saturday was mostly a washout wit some serious rain but managed 3 hours early afternoon..just had to find them and it was great fishing

Most of my fish came on topwater skitterpop and the rest on 2 colors of Ned rigs......made it easy

Only got a cuple of tanks and the rest were small to mid size bass plus some rockies It was great

some pics

this one was in the yap of a tank of a largemouth I had on for a few minutes and then it was gone. I was shocked when I saw this on end of my line, but this has happened before

Great variety of bass Longshank, that largemouth on topwater must have been a helluva fight.

Going to the cottage and fishing (successfully of course) are alway a special "Happy Place".

Congrats on a successful fishing trip.

Cheers,
