This morning I returned to the Muskoka lake that I had fished last week but this time with Knuguy. We were not disappointed!

We again caught numerous bass -- after a while, we just didn't bother keeping track of numbers. Most were in the 1-1.5 pound range but no surprise there. It was just a fun day out!

However on the paddle back to the launch, we stopped by a promising looking
laydown -- I tossed my wacky rig in, and, boom! The line moved, the fight was on. Line peeled off the spool yet the bass, despite its best efforts, was unable to drag me into the menacing tangle of tree limbs. I played the fish and, bit by bit, worked it back toward the canoe. A few moments later, I landed my best bass of the day.

What a great way to end an otherwise tough week!

As the net man I was having a great day. Managed to avoid getting any slime on the net all day. Then MK ruined it at the very end. DRAT!
