Looking for somewhere to take my kids shore fishin, General Info

Hey Everyone,

Hope you are all doing well. More of a PM guy vs creating threads.

From the kawartha lakes area and hauled my trailer and family up to Memorial Park in Meaford for the week. I’m hoping to find somewhere to take my kids (6&2) for a little shore fish. I only venture up here in the fall for steel on the bighead and saugeen. Does anyone know where I could take the little ones within driving distance for some panfish?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Sorry, I don't know that area well, but your idea of taking your little kids fishing is a fantastic way to introduce them to great a lifelong past-time.

some bass near former Fishermans wharf, basically below hwy 26 bridge to the turn by the motel. theres indian restaurant right after the turn you cant miss it.
