Great report and good luck with your new addiction. Tell your wife there are worse things to be addicted to.

Now that is a fantastic post. Almost sounds like 'youthful enthusiasm'...lol.

Congrats on the boat, and your fishing success.
Looks like the salmon aren't the only ones hooked.

As said in an earlier post, it's got you "hook line and sinker". Fantastic!
Keep the posts coming.

Trolling gbay is ridiculously addictive and expensive, get ready. Well done on your first few weeks.

Few tips, never think you've figured them out. They will humble you quick and you will be buying gear and asking questions but that's the best way to becoming a better angler. I've been trolling GBay since the early 90's, I'm still learning and patterning the fish. I never stop experimenting with gear and tactics. if you are on FB, join my group Kings on the Bay. Im always chatting behind the scenes with manufacturers keeping everyone informed on the best and newest gear as well as my trolling experiences on the water. Best of luck this coming season and keep an eye out for new gear, lots of new spoons and gear coming on the market this year.

I saw the picture from Vails Pt, brings back a lot of memories fishing that area for 30+ years until the base closed the campground at Vails Pt. Lots of salmon, RB and Lakers hang around in the area from Johnsons Harbour to Coffin Hill and out to the green can.

enjoy the highs and learn from any lows
