Rans some errands this morning while it was grey and snowing. Thought I’d head out for a hike after. Oh and I didn’t bring my camera
My intention was to look for owls or at least signs of owls. I was disappointed when I bumped into a Barred Owl.
I wasn’t out much if at all last year. Hoping to change that this year.
Next time the camera comes with me.
Sorry for the grainy photo but it’s definitely an owl.
Cheers

Very nice. You the man. I don't know how you find them.
Just know how and where to look.

Thanks for sharing

I have seen a couple owls at a distance while morning deer hunting. Also a couple of red tail hawks up close, one was chasing a squirrel about 10ft from me. the other landed in a pine tree about 30yds away with a squirrel in its feet.

Nice. This guy hangs around the tree about 12 feet from our family room window. Pic was taken from inside the house through the window:

Very cool! It’s amazing how much beautiful wildlife you’ll see when you leave your nail gun at home……
