Brief outing to try and scratch the itch. No luck but nice to get out and find ice. I brought my snowblower and made a road, I hate dragging my gear through snow even with a smitty.
My hardside shack may go out before the new year!

I don't post often but I really appreciate being a part of this group. Hope everyone does well on the ice! Stay safe.

Pic of snowblowen trail. If you know it I'm sure I will see you out there!

The way it goes sometimes. Looks like a good start of a skating trail you’ve got cleared.

I wish I though of that. I could have made a big loop leading away from my shacks potential future location and a small trail too it. I hope the -10 overnights will get some more quality ice in place for my little 4x8 shack.

Nice I can't wait to get out for a fish on the hardwater.

Interesting idea. I wonder if I can argue well enough to get a self-propelled 2-stage blower...i.e., it will help me to clear snow at home much better and faster than my 1 stage....and it can pull my gear out when the snow at home is done?
