It's holding so far but who knows what the next few days will bring. Another 45 hrs till it goes below 0

When I was at the soccer park today port bolster there was a large open spot between duclose and the island. It opened up some towards Beaverton way. Also looked like the stuff cloes to the open water had waves under it.

Fingers crossed

On the plus side it did dip below zero this morning and currently.
Will check out a few places from port bolster to Keswick early afternoon.

Seems vb is was still holding this afternoon.

Port bolster is taking a beating tho. Still some ice over some fish some area's are open not to far out off the soccer park. Was really hard to tell today what was open or ice . A strong nw wind tomorrow so more damage is expected tomorrow.

Such a shame considering it was ice as far as you could see for almost a week.

Well port bolster is pooched.

It's going to need a full rebuild hopefully it skims back over the weekend.

If I got time I'll see if vb is still holding.

Thank you for the update much appreciated. Snow coming in the next few days. Honestly might be a little better if there is no ice so it doesn’t insulate it

Vb lost some ice since yesterday a nice big strip is gone since yesterday.
Also looks like it shifted some as there were a few small piles of what looked to be ice in the middle looking towards Beaverton or duclose. This snow tomorrow definitely isn't good .

That last video should just be in the regular ice thread as he didn't make it to vb lol. I saw it yesterday was exited he was going to vb then disappointed when he only made it to the blue bridge. Yesterday was the only day this week I didn't take a look at the ice or to see if anyone was out there.

I'll be there in a hour to check out the ice conditions.
