Forgot the tape lol so it's just a guess. Went out a hundred yards or so past the dock ice seems good to be walking on checked under a few drifts and didn't find any thin spots. About 4 to 6 in the holes I found or drilled. One was atleast 5 before I stopped drilling and never went through.
I'll work my way out to the middle just before light up and I'll have a tape for an accurate measurements.

Got out for a few hours this morning and I forgot to bring the full battery for the drill. When I checked the ice yesterday the one in the drill was low. So I only drilled 3/4 of the hole good thing i had the spud ,to bad its a fine point . Anyway it was 6,5/8 all white ice in the first hole. I moved once and picked my way thought was all black a hair under 6 that was the last and probably the best ice out there as it was the last to freeze back up. Fishing was slow caught 3 in 2.5 hours could of got a couple more but there is no point pulling 5 inch up if you don't let him get the hook.
Anyway talked to a guy he checked all the way across he told me 6 to 8 and he will be putting in the stick line tomorrow.
