saw some vids of guys ice fishing in a marina are you allowed or is it private property? lots of ice in the marina

It all depends, if the marina dredged out the marina and had previous deeds to it, then it's private. Call them on your dime.

Your best bet is to call the town clerk that is closest to the marina. Almost all water on non private lakes is public, but some municipalities have passed bylaws unique to certain areas. I have seen certain places where there are no fishing signs just put up to keep people fishing in boats away. It's usually just a detterence attempt. But not always, sometimes the signs are legal.
