I don’t think this is over 30” but it’s darn close. We will leave it up to the tournament masters to decide if it’s 30”+ or 25-30”. Either way mark me down!
Very nice fish, very very close -- but I will call it 30" exactly.. see red marks..

Feb. 5. Game fish 25-30" (I think it is between 25-1/4 and 25-1/2"). It was released quickly after a photo and should be plenty fine...the blood was my donation to the event and not from the fish I should have moved it to a non-bloodied spot for the photo but again, trying to get the photo quickly before the fish realizes and starts to thrash. Ahhh...damn, I just noticed I did not put my card down for the photo. I am okay if this doesn't count. I'll just have to go back out tomorrow and catch more fish. One thing that will identify that it is me is that that measuring board is unique (I made it) out of parts that I have leftover from replacing blinds (I think part of the blinds' valance materials). Hope that helps. I think I may have to tape that card onto my measuring board.

yes I believe you Flukes. I will 'pencil" in this 25" plus laker as an entry at this time, but before the end of the derby, just catch another 25" plus gamefish with your card in the pic to make the entry official. Cheers!

Damn, that means I will just have to find more time to fish more...oh the sacrifices we must make I am hoping if I get another 25" fish, it will be a WF (something I am willing to eat). And that 30" will be the much hard category to knock off the list...it would be a Fluke for sure if I got one this winter.

We now have 20 participants, so the math works out.. The lowest payout payment is $25, your moneyback.. I will post the derby payout summary - as soon as I have some free time..
