To Stocco 75.
The best perch bait I used at Casey's was Taj's minnows on a pickerel rig for quantity. Tried Slab Grabbers, viberex, other baits with limited success. Kept fish from 9-12 inches. 50 of them on the 9th.
Lots of traffic with sleds, 4 wheelers and argos out there. Ice is a mix of 3 inches black, 2 in crushed frozen and 2 in snow packed frozen where i was at his hut.
Be careful as cracks and ice ridges are forming. I went back on the 14th which was a slow day and kept 10.

Interesting.........I was there on the 14 and 15 and had a different experience re. the slab grabbers

minnows worked for sure but just mostly small perch

also had a bit more ice than you did......5 plus inches of blue and 4 of white ice

conditions change with high winds and termps.......I will post shortly

The ice i measured was on the 9th and am glad to hear it thickened up a bit. I was there on the 14th when the van went through. Not sure what happened there and i didn't do any measurements at that time..
Still the bite was real slow for me with or without minnows.
Was the last one off the ice at 630 but the van was out. Hope all is OK with those folks.
Good Luck and cheers.

On the 12th I had most of my luck with a Rapala lure shown below.
While minnows did catch they were mostly dinks.
Got a few on slab grabbers as well but not as many.
