Nelzer, promised here is our update for the last days at Anglers Haven -Ice Bungalows!
-we landed 39 walleye total…10 keepers but only kept 6 ( only 3 x fishermen )
…odd thing fish did not start biting till 2:00 PM onward !… and the bite continued to up to 3:00 AM…
-largest was 20” …
-they hit 90% on dead stick ..but hit black, orange, yellow, pink jig heads.
Great Time shown by Marc, Ken/son…….
Great time!

thanks for the report Steve. Glad you had a good time. More fish would have been nice but at least you had the keepers. Very odd the bites went that late into the night usually it goes dead. once again the good old dead stick out fishes the massive amounts of expensive lures in the tackle bag. I am up again with Chilly Willy Feb.3, will post a report after.

Some nights are dead.
But we get them quite often between 8pm & 2am. Usually not up later than that.

It goes dead when witching hour's done.. takes a while for their eyes to adjust. But if they were biting during the day, more often than not we get action around 8-9.

If you're in a "party" hut with a lot of light and noise, YMMV.
