I got out for the first time after skipping last season completely. I had an easy walk out to 20 feet deep and had action right away. They were aggressive until the wind started changing. It was a little bit wet outside so I didn't feel like moving but once the wind started blowing and almost lifted the front of the clam flip over, I didn't have much choice. So I went out to 30 feet and had to start jigging aggressively to call in some perch. They were definitely not as aggressive as the morning but were still willing to bite in cycles. I didn't see anything bigger than 10" but had a lot of fun with the number of fish caught. There always seem to be at least 30 fish around all the time to keep me busy and they were moving in and out quite a bit. Hope you guys got out, feel free to share your experience.
Look forward to hearing some more stories.
