The dark area was ice from yesterday's picture as it shifted it opened the south end of the main lake. You can see the Crack near snake and fox.

If you look at today's you can see the difference it may or not be open still as I didn't check willow area this morning . Did drive by sibalds area that was ice as far as you could see yesterday at 1 also shifted . It did look like it was skimmed over again but hard to tell. Could still be open by Snake looks steamy on the satellite.

Yeah she is frozen back over today from willow across and up where it opened it could of even been frozen yesterday but I can't confirm.

Hopefully the winds don't blow it apart over the next few days already a bunch of nasty looking ice around this side. Some areas will be a horrible walk.

Yeah we have a nice picture for today and it's worse than I thought. Leaves a lot more room for it to shift around as the open water runs north along the west side..

funny each year new challenges, last 2 years not cold and limited ice, this year we got the cold but 50km winds to rip everything open, sometimes i think the fishing gods hate us

Looks like it's still open. Hopefully tonight's winds doesn't do to much more damage.

On today's image it's half cloudy and you can clearly make out Kemp. looks to be a line heading north at the end of Kemp . Don't think the winds are going to be as strong as first predicted was supposedto gust up to 60km.
