Planning to head out tomorrow in Port Bolster with kids. I have been out at Port Bolster twice already this year. I walk with my sled and have pop up.
Because the wife and kids are coming , need to bring 4 man pop up (frabill). Calling for 25km /h winds gusting to 35km /h. Thought on whether this too windy and better to stay home? Or very much manageable?

25 to 35 isn't terrible....although the wind will make it feel alot colder....bundle the kids up for the walk out....your hut should be fine in those winds as long as its tied down. I'm headed out with my frabil portable tomorrow as well. Enjoy.

Maybe bring a few extra anchors for the pop up. My otter anchors on all four corners and all four sides. Great design in windy conditions. The anchor tool on the drill makes this a "breeze"
