Guys,
Just wanted to get an idea of your preferences for positioning your underwater camera. Say fishing for whitefish in 30-50’ …do you like camera 6-8 feet off bottom pointed slightly down, 2’ off bottom straight horizontally or maybe 10’ off bottom straight down etc etc. what works best for you? And how close do you bring camera to your bait?

Don't fish whities much, but for perch we usually try to get to the bottom to view them on a horizantal plane. Looking down or even at an angle the buggers blend in so well it's sometimes hard to see.

Same as whynot. I use it horizontally maybe a foot or two from bottom for perch under 40 fow. My bud hangs it 10 ft from bottom vertically. I will usually mark them on the vexilar before they come in camera view in both scenarios. Its a better view of your bait when horizontal. You can confirm they're not just sucking on the minnow when the bite is light
