It was an awesome trip again last week at Bear Creek Cottages. 9 of us landed 68 ) 60 eyes, 2 bass , 5 perch , 1 Cisco ) … even a tagged eye!

…we need to all remember we get to fish when ice is safe! I always depend on the outfitter to lead our way. The past few years was hit and miss when it came to what week what month ! Loads of fishing reservations were cancelled. And it hurt bad in the heart that we could not get out looking down that ice hole that expect bite! ? Last season I had 3 x excursions cancelled re lack of ice and for safety !…understandable for sure ! But it still hurt.
-this years trip to Bear Creek Cottages rekindled the fun, expectations, laughter and like in years past ! A great trip ! friends, family, comradely, jigs & digs… watching the smiles on the guys …was all worth it !
