Missing Whitefish

Adult Trout Group: Members Posts: 255 Member No.: 667 Joined: May 06, 2011	So its been a few years(2)since I have fished the bbp area not Kemp side. I was always able to locate the whitefish there from 15ft to 40ft. Now they are gone. Is anyone else having trouble finding them? Sterlhunter

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 2544 Member No.: 10908 Joined: January 25, 2016	Whitefish are famous for hanging out in an area for pretty much the whole ice fishing season. It’s not always the same area though. If you search and find them they will be there all ice season. It’s just a matter of where they are on any particular year. I used to catch them a few years back on moons shoal no problem. From what I have heard they also are not hanging out at Moons this year. Of course you also have the famous Simcoe February blahs to deal with.
