Some occasional drifts to worry about. I was out there saturday, moved around pretty good, nothing the machine couldn’t handle. We got more snow yesterday and more coming this week could change that.

I was out with the ATV on Saturday and it was fine (west side, IBP/Lockhart/Mapleview). We've got about 8" of snow since then, but it should still be ok. I'm hoping to get out tomorrow afternoon, if I do I'll let you know what I find.

I was out this afternoon between Lockhart and 10th line, ATV travel was still ok. There are some slush patches out there now, but nothing that slowed me down too much.

Contrary to the above post, out of Bolster the bikes were working hard last weekend. All the broke up ice has caught snow and there are some hefty drifts that'll bottom-out an ATV and there are slush patches developing. There's tons of traffic packing down roads within a few km of shore, but the run out to whitefish grounds included one stuck quad and a tow. I'd be sporting rear chains on an ATV from now on, at least if you get stuck it's possible to get one wheel to dig to ice and pop yourself out of the hole with chains.

Well after what we got the last 2 days and what's coming over the next few I wish ya all the best of luck.
It's amazing how small of areas are affected by the squalls. Last week was the north end last night from port to brechin when an additional 20 plus cm fell this morning after the storms snow that saw 20 plus. Now at least another ft this weekend and I'm guessing more squalls on Monday
It's going to be a mess we probably have 3 to 4 across the yard this season. Had to get to the back trailer today for my metal detector and it's was waist deep. Some things fell out of my pocket shoveling this morning phone included fell out and tossed them into the snowbank. The phone was easy to find we just dug out the ringing hahaha. Found the rest shortly after

ATV travel on the lake up in my area will now likely be impossible, we've had a ton of snow in the past four days and it's been falling nonstop since yesterday. Shoveled a meter of snow off the back half of the roof yesterday, there's another 30cm on there today.
