Good morning all. After a grueling 14 hours of pushing, digging ,winching I've finally given up. My atv is stuck about 150M from shore at willow beach in 3.5 ft Of show. Does anyone have an argo or any contacts to get my machine off the lake? of course im willing to pay for the service. Thanks guys

That sucks man. Sorry, not in a position to help you myself, but perhaps a local operator will be willing to provide a recovery.

The “Off road recovery” guys? I see them on Facebook.
Sounds like a looooong night. I would have given up about an hour after dark. If it freezes into the slush though it becomes a bigger headache.
Good luck. Catch a fish while you wait.

That sucks I'm sure your not alone the atvs will be struggling for sure. My kid was out on a sled yesterday too and they were also getting stuck and some grunt work getting off. They also said about 3 ft of snow just near by. The amount of snow that came down almost buried the sled while they fished . Atv travel may soon come to end from the amount of snow.
So far the winds are low enough the sqauls are just barely hitting the lake but the winds are expected to rise bringing the threat of even more snow.. k Bay got a bit more over night.

Good luck .

Thanks for your messages guys. A guy passing by with a tracked atv pulled me out no problem.

Glad to hear you got out ok.

Trillium Off-Road Recovery (a group on FB) helps with recoveries. If anyone ever needs help. They ask that you post your coordinates or What-Three-words location. As long as you're not on private land, someone will come and help out.
