Hoping to get out this weekend with a buddy and his kids and my mom (75).

Now, she's quite active and adventurous and really wants to go ice fishing at least to say she did it lol. I don't need spots, but any recommendations of where we could park/go out from that isn't a heck of a walk, and preferably not 2ft of snow lol. Big ask I'm sure. I haven't done much fishing for them in 20 years when we'd go out from BBP. That was a bit of a hike I remember. Feel free to dm if you prefer.

If you're from Barrie, you can park at the marina and take a short walk to Kempenfelt Bay to try there, or you can go to Minet’s Point, where it’s less of a hassle to walk on the ice.
