Well we got back from Lonely Island area. We managed only 7 pickerel, all un-keepable, and two perch. Wondering what other area of the lake is best to target perch? We used to fish out of Sunset park and in that area the perch filled in the time between the pickerel. Are perch grounds all over the lake or do they mostly concentrate on the mud flats? Looking for ideas for next season. Thanks

I’ve caught perch all over the place. But lately the bite has been poor in general so I’m not expecting much right now anywhere.

Best perch icefishing I have had was at the manitous in 40 feet of water\

years ago i use to fish 35ft off deep water point for perch.
Also best perch fishing was years ago also 40ft at Manitous but that seemed
to be a one off as i tried a couple times over the years and got nothing.
Sunset point has been descent but out a ways.
Also Perch numbers seem down from years past but still good.
