Good day my friends, I thought I would share an experience that I had today. I was fishing a nearby lake today close to home, where I manage to get my personal best walleye through the ice,. The walleye measured 29 in and I estimated it to be approximately 10 lb. A few pictures were taken and the fish was quickly released. What a beautiful sight to see that massive gold head coming through that 6-in hole. Prior to the walleye I caught several Pike, seven to be exact in which I kept three for eating. It was definitely a day to remember, and Drew you can relax cuz I didn't quite reach the 30-in plateau for now. Also caught a nice crappy and a smaller walleye yesterday, and the crappie was also just shy of the 14-in range. Very close to the two target fish that I am trying to catch at this point. It won't be long now I'm sure, so have a crappie day.

I bet that fish was thick across the shoulders. Those big walleye need fish callipers to measure their shoulder width. March is definitely pike month.
