Fished THE lake in Muskoka today, with a lady

She landed the bigger laker (close to 27") early in the morning

And I landed two smaller lakers, and lost another two half way up

Wind picked up getting stronger and stronger in the afternoon, so called it a day at 3PM

Ice is still good, and there are very little snow left on ice, and no slush at all

Wow, that's some good action for a day. Glad to see much less snow and slush out there. Hope to fish there again later this week if I can sneak away. The fishing should start to pick up....but I see from your day, it has already picked up. Neighbours have been asking if I have been fishing....I think they are hoping that I will catch some lakers and not WF.

Thanks

By the way, the lady landed the big laker, and it was her very first fish ever landed through ice (ice fishing, that is) :-)

Glad she caught one and big one. Much better than getting a fish from a stranger on the ice right? ))) I suspect she will be hooked on ice fishing now.
