I'm hoping to get on the ice once more before calling it a season. On that note, has anyone been on the ice either today or yesterday? Thanks

I visited Balsam, Cameron and Sturgeon lakes today. The ice on the shore has melted quite a bit in the last three days. I can't speak for the entire shoreline around all three lakes, but here is a few pictures.

Last one, I could easily fish this spot tonight. It's very temping, but I will watch the Leafs and Rangers play first. Maybe after the game is over.

Well we will see what happens. Windy out there, maybe it pushed the ice out a bit more. Leafs just won 4 to 3...Yessss. Putting on some warm clothes and heading out now.
