It's been years (15 perhaps) since I was up there but there was Lakers and pickerel in there. It was quite deep from what I recall I went and stayed at Papa John's Place 4 years in a row and would always have more luck in the lakes beyond Herridge. They had trails and boats setup for easy access. Nice pan size pickerel and lively pike in the spring. Hopefully things have not changed as there was not much room on the lake for heavy fishing.

I remember another place on the lake called Lake Herridge Lodge. I didn't stay there but did take a walk around the place. It looked pretty nice back then. Are you thinking about staying at one of the lodges?
