Thanks for the turn! Hate when the uploads go all flippy on me
My boat hunt was centered around what could be comfortably towed by my car. It is rated to 2000 and the boat/motor/trailer is just over 1000. Was a two hour drive home today including the burlington skyway. Never once had the car have to change gears because it was towing the boat. Hell, i didn't even break 3000rpm on the skyway and my mpg for the trip was better than normal as i was steady on the gas instead of my usual darting. Was very pleased with how she handled behind my little car.
i do find it funny that the boat sits at about the same height as the car though.

Lol, I was jk about the car but yes the boat does look bigger. Glad she tows fine, as long as you can pull her up a wet ramp your all set. Is that an All wheel drive Suzuki?

Took out the casting deck and shortened the platform.
Added a sheet of 1/4" plywood to floor, shortened the deck to the size of a bench and plan to add the floor seat mount as a removable third person seat.
Covered it with some very inexpensive marine carpeting, using staples and spray adhesive.
Gonna waterproof it (spray) for a final touch.
It has changed the whole dynamics of fishing in the boat now and handles no differently really. It does go a bit faster.

I had a boat in the late 80's and we wore her out. Now I am semi retired and took the plunge again. She's an 08 with 49 hours on it. Like new. Runs like a charm and the perch seem to like it, so let's hope all the other fish do too.
