We tried to do an early splash last year but insurance said we would not be covered. Had to wait until April 1.

I tried to do the same last year, and was told...."absolutely not". I don't think insurance agents fish. Cheers!

I hear the kitties are huge down there. I catch a ton of them in the Severn. Good luck!

This is my rig dubbed the "SeaWeed 2"
Its a 04 Lund fisherman 1700 with a yamaha 115 fourstroke pushing it along. full canopy, cushions, plotter and the whole nine yards. I picked it up in july last year and somehow managed to put on nearly 100hrs
So far since i have owned it i have only ever run it here on Georgian Bay and as everyone knows the Bay can get VERY nasty and I have been caught in some very bad weather but the Lund handled it with grace! I got caught once in a storm and i had to follow what i would say was about a 33 footer just to get across the "gap"..needless to say i hope that never happens again..

OK when March begins every year, I get the itch. Here's my rig on March 31st last year. Full canvas enclosure wasn't up yet that day.
She's powered with twin Volvo-Penta high output 5.0 litre EFI's putting out 530HP at the props.
The wifey's been hinting at selling her cuz we live on the water and don't need this boat anymore.
Coming to the LSO Buy & Sell forum soon,,,,
Wifey for sale. Price, CHEAP.

She's all covered for the winter Craig.
My contingency plan if the wifey throws me out for reading my post is; go live aboard Serena.

It is scientifically custom built equipment for my boat (in case i get pulled over on the water).
When trolling for LT I can't otherwise go slow enough. This seems to work.
Then I don't have to do a thing, even reeling is taken care of.
Meet my crew.
