I fished there last Nov. Didn't catch anything but some guys next to me did land one nice bow. Apparently wind direction is very important for getting bites. Can't remember which wind direction was best, but the old timers said the wind was wrong when I was there.

For Craigleith you want a wind from the south to west southwest to keep the ice off shore. Right now its n/w and will push all the ice onto shore.

My first post on this new format,...so be gentle!
Saturday had the winds coming from the north so this area were socked in with ice. I came over from Barrie, A risky shore for those driving a long way as the wind swings from the mountain and they pick up as well; both of which can shut things down.
