Today I decided to head out on a Kingston area back lake for some trout fishing. Travel on the lake was very good, all the snow cover has pretty much blown off and no slush at all, the lake was solid with 12" of ice. It was very COLD today and I was fishing al fresco, holes kept icing up and any exposed skin froze quickly in the bitting wind. But, I toughed it out and was rewarded.. I went 2 for 4 on Lake Trout. All the action was in 105 fow jigging a williams spoon just off bottom. All in all a great outing, wish I could stay longer.. Cheers, Jerry

Good job Jerry, nice looking Lakers and a nice size for eating. Maybe we can find some bigger ones on Simcoe some time soon. Craig and James need to pop their cherry and I still want that big one
