I have a weekend booked at a local lodge in early June for some pike and walleye
action. Anyone fish there this time of year? tips on lureage and general tactics would be helpful

Thanks

the largest pike I ever caught came out from one of the lodges in Point au Baril. This was quite a while ago, cant even remember the name of the lodge (I know how to get there though),,,, anyhow, I was fishing off one of the points fairly close to the lodge using a large mepps yellow body and hair off the trebble hook (cant remeber the number,, possibly #4). Gave it a few seconds to get some depth and reeled it in(on the slower side) and boom!!!!. 3,1/2`maybe a bit longer. The lodge put the pic of it on their brochure. Excellent fishing over there. Big mepps always worked well for me over there, for the pike that is.
