we all the the single seat models. two of us have cheap 300 buckers and my other bud has a fishcat that runs close to a g. way easier entry than kayak or canoe, and tin boats are a pain ( we have all 3 between us) the toon is the way to go here i am this fall

How compact are they when they aren't inflated? Would they fit in trunk of a car? I'm also wondering about how tough the pontoons are as far as leaks go if you are portaging or hit rocks or fallen trees in the river. I am thinking it may be a good alternative to my kayak on the river. My yak is quite bulky.

they go together pretty slick. took me about 30 mins to assemble for the first time. we all have trucks i havent tried breaking it down, but the frames come apart with a couple hitch pins. came in a box smaller than a hockey bag, bigger than a gym bag, so i think it would fit in a trunk. seen others unloading them from trunks. depending on the model, they have different amounts of protection. they usuallyhave the air bladder which goes into a nylon outer. mine has super heavy duty material on the bottom of the bladder case, my buddies fishcat is well protected all around. had mine almost a year. im pretty rough and no punctures yet.... if you guys are seriously looking, costco has them online right now 255 + tax shipping incl.
