Finally got back out on a local river after work last night....Fished for an hour in a well known pool, nodda....Packed it up to go home, half ways to truck when i noticed a "seam" by a rock that called my name..

Well...this little place was loaded!!!! In a matter of another hour i hooked 8 fish...not landing them all of course, LOL but one of them was a tank over 15 is my guess..

Numb fingers, blinding snow....glad to be back out

Here is a pic of one, not many photos taken as my fingers were numb as stated before

Pretty hard to numb those sausage fingers

Nice fish . I see a little white Roe bag it went for

Trout or Salmon Roe ?

Just picked up 5 pounds of Trout Roe.

Hopefully the Northern Rivers will be ready soon ...

careful sniffer, those sausage fingers roll into a mean right hook meatloaf

They were slamming my old stinky salmon roe from the fall....trout roe took one last night for me though...

I wouls order some more but they are loving the old stuff from october, my not so sexy anymore stink salmon eggs..I must have done something right with them.

Gonna hit north at least once over the long weekend

Northern rivers have no fish . They are also very small and way less of a fight ....
