I went to a few different Southern tribes this weekend. My friend and I had a great day, the weather was beautiful Sunday even though the forecast predicted other wise. The water was a bit more clear then what I like so light line was the key to hooking into the fish. Roe bags were working well and seemed to be what the majority of guys were using. The rivers and creeks were very busy, opener should be a zoo LOL. Here is a pic of one of the little beauties that I caught.

We were there on the opposite shore on Saturday morning. Quite a few people there as well. We didn't hook into anything but saw 2 hookups and 1 caught. Might get mucky again after the expected rain tonight.

With this amount of rain high and dirty wash out for sure! no more holes for a week or so This will probably push a ton of fish far up stream for opener. I bet the vets will be starting up high.
