Hi all.
New to the computer era and to fishing boards.
I have a chance to go to the Britt area for the may 24 weekend and was wondering if anyone has ever fished there?
Just looking for type of fish and maybe a couple of helper baits to take with.
Any info. would be appreciated.

Thanks and nice fishing board! Bud

Couple of years ago we fished this inlet for 3 days. You can get a good size pike there, also between 3 of us we couth 4 walleyes from 1,5 to 3,5 lbs. Troll with spinners (bright yellow, orange), rapala lures perch color and yellow jigs with worms from the bottom. Good luck and be careful when venture out on a boat- this place is “rocky mountains” covered by water.

Thanks Sidehook.
Sorry about the late reply. Just got back from 3 weeks in europe.

Lots of rocks eh!!!??!! I'll keep my trim up and eyes open and hope for the best.
I have got some of those lures but I should make a pit stop and get a couple of new ones just in case.

Thanks again and I'll post on the results.

Hey Sidehook

Nope. Nothin' to brag about cause I didn't go. To big of a honey do list this spring.

Hit a couple of local streams on friday night and nothing.(local trout streams)

We were about to leave sat. am. with the boat and we thought we should do a check on everything. Good thing cause it wouldn't start. By the time we got it ready to go we ended up at Simcoe for the afternoon.(next to nothin'just small perch)

Worked sun. and mon. on the list.(couldn't bring myself to do it at the beginning of the weekend, cause I had an itch to scratch)

So all in all not a great weekend.

Thanks for the info tho. Much appreciated.

Later....

Bud
