I know this might seem like a dumb question but anyway to save money.

i.e. gas prices and launch fees going up. I mean really $10.00 to launch a boat.

What ever happened to the little boat launches that were free. OH YA WHY FREE WHEN YOU CAN GET MONEY FROM PEOPLE ( GOVERNMENT ).

Anyone know of any lauches that are free or a rough / small place to launch a 12 ft boat. From Wasaga Beach to Wiarton.

I know a few places around the Owen Sound area. If anyone needs directions.

Regards.

Definitely a sign of the times, but most anglers would likely jump at the chance of being able to launch for a mere $10. It's a shame but many facilities and municipally run launch areas charge at least double that for a launch and parking. Friends from the States are astounded to discover we have to pay to launch a boat as most of their state run launch facilities are clearly marked (directions from the highway), meticulously maintained and ... FREE!
