Sorry to hear the bad news and I wish you all the best in your battle. It can be a terrible disease but people have beaten the odds. Keep as upbeat as possible and if you can, enjoy doing what you love (fishing or otherwise) for as long as you can.

This forum community will all be with you in our harts. I dont personally know you Wizard, but as a middle aged man, mortality is suddenly realized. Having said that, you need to hunker down and prove those docters are wrong. It has been done many time before, and you will do it again!

Wiz, I read your post just after you posted it. Although I've never met you, it floored me. I've been thinking all day for an appropriate reply. I'm still at a loss for words. It's my sincerest hopes that you can beat this damn thing and maybe we could wash some lures together one day.

I am very very very sorry to hear about this wizard.
Similar to what Bayliner/John said, I read your post much earlier today, but I felt lost, and at the time I didn't know what to say in my reply.
But I have to reply. Now.
So far in my life I have witnessed a couple of close friends who lost the ultimate fight or battle with cancer, and I don't want to see another lost one. As most of others have replied and said here, we all know that miracles do happen, and I pray it will with you. My prayers are deeply with you, your family and your friends.
PS: If there are anything that this board and/or I can do to help out our wizard, We/I will do our/my best! Just let us/me know.
