This unique place has a style all its own. If you enjoy nature, this off-grid cozy cabin in our backyard has all the amenities for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Fishing, Kayaking, swimming or just setting out for some hiking or biking. This little cabin can be enjoyed during all 4 seasons in Ontario. The cabin is insulated with heat and hydro, as well as a water foot pump system for freshwater access. It offers a double bed for 2 people or it has an additional blow-up single mattress for a 3rd person or 2 fishermen.
The Cabin
We offer an insulated small space that is cozy and heated in the winter and available for all 4 seasons. The plumbing is a foot pump fresh water system with a grey water bin. We offer a portable toilet for those who do not wish to leave the cabin to use our guest bathroom in our house. There is a cozy double bed for two or an additional blow-up mattress for a third guest. This cabin offers a few mild kitchen amenities. Coffee, tea, a microwave, a toaster and a mini fridge. Bring some food and drinks or a picnic for two.
The cabin has electricity, Internet and TV. The TV is run by a Roku smart box.
Parking is available for 1 vehicle on our driveway. Enter the backyard through our gate and proceed through the backyard to the little cozy cabin in the back left side of the yard. During the summer months, a semi-private patio with furniture, and a fire table will be available as well as, an outdoor shower with a hot water on-demand system. During summer months you can have access to our 2 kayaks that have towing wheels so you can roll them to the public beach. We also have 3 different floaties for the beach for everyone to enjoy. These are all available for a small deposit. ($100 for Kayaks, $30 for beach floaties)
Please ensure to speak with us before you arrive as we do have 2 dogs on the property that we will put away while you are visiting.
